Welcome to the WebSoccerMonitor Documentation!

This Open Source project aims to be a simple yet powerful way of visualising matches from RoboCup Soccer Leagues. At the moment you can replay previous games by providing the log file of a 2D Simulation league match. In the near future, you'll be able to hook this envirnonment to a server running a game of any league and watch it in real time.

Current Version and status

• The current version is 0.1
• The demo's current hosting situation is not optimal, so you may face slowness, but it should be working.

Architecture

The current architecture is very simple. Below you can see a simple description of it, and a visual diagram on the right. A more detailed description and diagram is being worked on.

• A *.rcg.gz file can be uploaded at the frontend to be sent to the backend for processing. On the backend, the log file is extracted if compressed and transformed into .csv format by this program. The portion of the data the WebSoccerMonitor need is than organized into a .json file that is sent to the frontend where it wil be displayed by the Monitor component.
